Math and science help from someone who just aced these classes.
One-on-one tutoring for middle and high school students, from Algebra 1 through Precalculus, Chemistry, and AP Biology. I come to you.
What I teach
Each of these is a class I've taken myself. I know the units, the common sticking points, and what teachers tend to test.
Algebra 1
Equations, functions, graphing, and the habits that carry into every later math class.
Algebra 2
Polynomials, exponentials, logarithms, and the jump in pace from Algebra 1.
Algebra 3
Advanced functions, intro trig, and the bridge from Algebra 2 into Precalculus.
Precalculus
Trig, functions, and the groundwork that makes calculus manageable.
Chemistry
Stoichiometry, moles, bonding, and the math-heavy units students dread.
Honors Physiology
Body systems, terminology, and study strategies for memory-heavy content.
AP Biology
Coursework support plus focused prep for the AP exam in May.

Hi, I'm Elisha.
Pronounced ee-LYE-shuh
I'm a Microbiology student at San Diego State on the pre-med track, and I've been tutoring middle and high schoolers for over two years. I started helping friends and neighbors with math and science, and it turned into something I genuinely love doing.
My approach is simple. Find exactly where the confusion starts, fix it there, and build confidence from that point forward. Good grades follow.

We hired Elisha when our daughter was struggling in Bio, and the difference was clear within a few weeks. He took these same classes recently, so he knows exactly where students get stuck and explains it in a way that finally clicks. He's reliable, always on time, and easy to communicate with as a parent. We'd recommend him to any family in Scripps Ranch.
